Personally, I like the taste of mutton (goat meat) better than lamb (sheep meat).

I guess you never lived on a farm. A baby sheep is a 'lamb' and its meat is called lamb. When a fully grown sheep slaughtered for meat its called mutton. Sort of like veal and beef.

Goat meat is also called chevon and is an entirely separate category.
