Wonder how many employers are really following these requirements...? Apparently about as many as drive within the speed limits. The news is full of stories of illegals holding jobs. I don't know of any reports of employers being held accountable. The closest we came was the Walmart story a while back. Did any heads roll over that? Discussion of immigration policies seems to assume that there are large numbers of illegals in the legit economy. Which makes me wonder how the Bush and other proposals for a guest worker program would work any better than the current law.
