"reflexive pessimism" It really does almost seem an archetypal trait of some here I think any objective reader of this thread over the last year (about the time I have been reading it) would agree that "reflexive pessism" does not describe any posts on here with the exception of those of one former Intel contractor. However, "reflexive over-optimism", is typical of several posters. There are one or two whose belief in all AMD's PR announcements and the "best case" which will result from them is almost childlike in its innocence. And there is one whose dobberman responses to any question about AMD's announcements or prospects has become pavlovian in their predictability. Investment should be rational not emotional.
