"My gut feeling is that Intel is losing the Processor war in mindshare..." Agreed, and what's more the slippage has just begun! "given that what does a cornered animal do?...be careful...Intel may be giving flash away for free just to impede AMD's onslaught..." I hear you, but the cornered animal has been thrashing about blindly for about a year now! As long as INTC's lineup is second best, there is a limit as to how much damage they can do to others. There is a large body of consumers who want the best price/performing product in the market place and INTC can thrash about all they want but until INTC can present a competitive alternative to AMD's lineup, their customer base will continue to drift away!
