Most devastating effect of WangMart is the fact that it's presence closes mom&pop businesses thereby changing the face of small town, USA for the worse. It creates a retail monopoly in rural areas. Once that goal is achieved, the prices will roll forward and shoppers will have no recourse. Best hope is that the situation will create sharper retail competition to WonTonMart, which will eventually chase it to more lucrative foreign markets.
