Close don't count in anything but in horseshoes and nukes. I don't agree with the idea about a smear campaign. Kerry's record and words in the 70's wasn't a product of Karl Rove it came from JK himself. The constantly changing positions didn't help he cause.

Maybe demo should get a candidate from OH next time? Talk to Hillary about moving there and buying a house. ggg
