I have not been overseas since I went to Paris four years ago. I would be very curious, if anything strikes you. I am, of course, green with envy. Bon appetit<g>!

We'll be anxious to hear your report back Rambi....Have a great time, and don't even think of looking at the menu for that 'dessert'.......yuk!!! My Mom always hated the very thought of mutton....she was raised on a ranch, and always said it was stale old sheep.

But then again, I can't even think of eating lamb either....we helped to feed a lost-in-a-blizzard-so-took-him-to-my-Grandparents-to-raise lamb; and one day about a year later...Lamie was gone. He never became mutton.
.
.
RIP in peace Lamie.

Got married in Edinburgh. Stayed at the Caledonian, which was not a Hilton at the time.

Wonderful.

The doorman you see below took me aside the day after the ceremony:

"Come here, lad, I've something to tell ya."

"Yes, I'm listening."

"Dunna worry, laddie, the first twenty five years are the werrrrst, and I should know!"
