What do you want from management on Friday, given that the quarter isn't even halfway over?

There couldn't be a more volatile market than semiconductors. Q4 will be what it is! AMD meantime has put in place cpu and flash roadmaps that over the next 1 to 3 years will wildly outperform the norm.

If you don't like the roadmaps, then stay away from AMD. If you don't like the semiconductor market, then stay away from semiconductors. Pretty simple!

If you really like the roadmap and are neutral on semiconductors, you may want to accumulate AMD shares while it remains at its currently ridiculously low valuation. AMD's upside, given current product lineups, outweighs its downside by many orders of magnitude. Sometime between tomorrow and the not too distant, I'm guessing $17 will look like the bargain of the decade!
