I would love the chance to put 12% of my income wherever I chose. What a carrot giving the younger set 2% so they can control their own destiny. <g> I knew you meant opt out entirely -- I forgot that without having to cut benefit checks to you later, they wouldn't need to take quite so much. Subconsciously, I knew they wouldn't be able to stand not taxing you for your entire working life and so would exact a heavy toll for you to opt out. How ironic that it can be worth it to pay to opt out of a system you've paid into all your working life just so you can cut your losses. That kind of shows how efficient the system is.
