Yo Tim, Thanks for serving. My point has always been that we (as un-equipped civilians now) are likely better off reducing our risk by reducing our exposure. Moving out of, or avoiding, a nuclear, chemical or biological fallout zone all together is not necessarily a priority for troops in the attack and is likely not quickly possible for troops in the defense. It is a very reasonable quick defense for civilians. With a full tank of gas and basic knowledge of wind patterns, and their effects on fallout, an American family should be able to seek and find safety quickly on their own. uw
