Since when did the vast majority of Americans know how to figure out a P&L or a balance sheet? I doubt that percentage was any greater during the years of 1792 - 1999 than they are now. Furthermore, I find your efforts to label anyone who doesn't agree with you a "moron" to be yet another generalization. Rather than identify and solve you're taking the divide and minimize approach to ANYONE who has a view that differs from yours. Thats some pretty high ground you're on.

The point being....you may have some sound ideas but flipping the term moron around isn't going to get those ideas sold very well. Knowing that 51% of the people who voted went the other way I think it might behoove the democrats to get off their perch and stop using sweeping terms such as "morons" to describe the very people they'd like to lure over to their side.
