They have *plenty* of capacity with 90nm in Fab30 alone.

In addition, it is not just units, but revenues. For example, growing server share is worth a lot more than growing value share. And what is AMD poised to continue doing all through 2005, even according to Intel?

Let's see. What is AMD likely to earn in 2004, per the analysts? $0.52. What does that make the P/E? 33. What's the sector avg P/E? About the same. So, not breakeven, and not an unusual multiple.

And this garbage: hell who knows what hectors plans are given that he has just started an outsourcing plan...

As if signing a foundry arrangement comes as a shock to anyone who's been paying attention, or calls Fab36 plans into question.
