I think you know what I said. Whether you think Islam really is the politically correct "religion of peace" or not, the violent school of thought exists, and it is this philosophy that we are fighting.

On a different note, why are you against removing violence out of all religions?

Why are you for changing any religion to fit your own point-of-view? If the core of a religion is violence, do you think you can strip out its violent parts and leave its adherents satisfied?

As for Christianity, the core of it was never violent. You can point to parts of the Old Testament all you want, but it will only highlight Jesus' teachings of law and redemption. Why else does the word Christianity begin with "Christ"?
