The stated purpose was to topple Saddam and leave and that slowly was perverted to suit companies like Halliburton. The USA is getting exactly what it deserves....another impossible and unwinnable situation like Vietnam where they murdered and tortured tens of thousand of innocent people there. (If you go there I'll rip your defense apart because it is indefensible anyway) Look, just because some IDIOT Shlomo (An Israeli) decides to write an article and call themselves an expert doesn't make it any less propaganda. And anyway IF Saddam was planning a bait trick, the USA in their infinite wisdom and intelligence couldn't see it? You must think the neo-cons are stupid or something. Well, maybe they are because they are NOT going to prevail in Iraq no matter how many of these silly articles come out to brainwash Americans into believing that they government has honorable intentions. The only thing that the invasion has done is create a similar situation to the "insurgents" in Poland when the Nazi's invaded. YES! Exactly the same situation. The Poles were evil insurgents if they tried to defend their country against the Germans. In reality they were heros and the Americans refused to back them. In like manner the so called "insurgents" are heros and trying to liberate their country from hillbilly uneducamated torturers and GI Joes salivating with blood lust.
