I just saw a promo on next Tuesday's Frontline, which will be about whether Walmart is good for America.

Thanks, I will watch it. Would you like to guess their answer? I watched their show on marketing last night. It was an attack on the way the Republicans sold their message this year. They disguised it by mentioning one or two ways the Dems did, the the main thrust was to "get" the right.

I posted the major Union goal in 05. They are spending 25 Mil to get Wal Mart. The new demon. Made me think of Rand's speech in Boston in the 60's. "America's most persecuted minority - Big Business."

The hardest thing to get people to believe is that the left attacks the good because it is good.

Why is Wal-Mart the whipping boy? Do any of the other Big Box retailers have a unionized work force? Costco, Target, BJ's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy, Circuit City, Staples, Office Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens n Things, any of the regional ones?

How about McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's?

One of the most fascinating things I've learned in a long time is that China has Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart stores in China are extremely popular. My dad goes to China a lot, he's dating a Chinese woman he "met" on the Internet.

I don't actually go to Wal-Mart much, myself. Target is closer, and has the same stuff but better quality. Home Depot has better hardware. And Costco and Sam's have better prices.
