Hi NC,
Now that the election is behind us, i will watch the bush administrations performance as if they have begun with a clean slate. It seems to me that to continue to argue about the origins of the iraq war is getting as ridiculous as the never ending vietnam debate. We are there. We are trying to right what became a lousy situation. If we can, cool. If we cant, we need an administration that can be flexible enough to alter course as necessary. I will judge them from this point on based on results, but i will cease and desist arguing about the origins of the war and i will try to never again utter WMD again.
FP for me has always had a starting point of today, not yesterday. Let the historians argue over the merits of what has already happened. We are where we are. Mike
