I am worn out from the election i guess. That was my passion as i have always followed presidential elections with keen interest and I often have dilemnas in choosing who to vote for. I am a complex guy. I am also an optimist and i have to hope bush does understand some of what went wrong in Term #1, particularly in Iraq, so i am hopeful.
By the way the Daily Mirror headline in london on the day after election day was "How can 59 million people be so dumb?" Effete New yorkers chimed in with letters to the NYTimes editors. One woman said she apologized to her euro friends and says she deccribes NYC as an island off the coast of europe. That sums it up for the anti-american crowd--NY instead of being the intellectual center of the US is now Haiti off the coast of france.
It was after reading all that crap that i knew that the choice i made on ED was the correct one. mike
