Exactly. Hollywood loves to make movies about war. My pick for director would be Tom Hanks. Nah, the subject is too creepy for him. One thing is for sure, Hollywood makes the enemies look much tougher. Take Black Hawk Down, you would really think the rebels could cut our troops to pieces. They forgot to show what a real US military operation might look like. They forgot to show the impact of 2 days worth of dropping 500 lb bombs from overhead to weaken enemy forces. Hollywood only wants to exploit the drama of the human suffering.

Maybe Hollywood should try a different spin and make a movie about the anti Christian and anti Jewish messages of the Middle East. I have the ultimate challenge for the movie directors - I challenge them to make a Red State drama film that goes after the religious intolerance of the Islamic bad guys. I am sick of watching movies where multiculteral Christians and Jews are always depicted as the bad guys.

Up til now, they would rather come up with hyothetical situations where US military detains all of the Muslims and let Bruce Willis at 'em. What was the name of that movie with Annette Benning and Denzel Washington??

I think the Bush victory gave the US a new platform for honest soul searching where we are not always the bad guy. I would love to see the tables turned and see someone point out that the multiculteral spirit of Christians and Jews are being exploited by the Bin Ladens of the world. I hope the producers do not let Van Gogh die without any further voice on the subject?
