Scott Ott is the blogger who writes for Scrappleface

I will remember that in the future, but your post thankfully reminded me of the lesson I've tried to keep in the forefront.........that I'd best not take everything posted on the Internet at face value or jump on a report in haste. I've tried to remember those lessons, but I do display my weakness's more often than I'd like.....sometimes I downright shine. ;)

I'm allot more cynical about news reports than I used to be....how could any of us not be more cynical especially after this last election? It can't be overlooked that the media has been extremely successful at fostering a sense of gullibility, ignorance and reticence. All of these are really serious matters imo.

Did Scott Ott develop his website to encourage cynicism? I haven't spent any time at scrappleface, so I don't know what his goals are. Maybe it would help me better understand, and recognize political satire if I took a more careful look?

You certainly had me going John.....as well as a few others here......but it wasn't the first time and I'm very sure it won't be the last.
