Suma, I stopped reading after this quote: Further budget discipline by Reagan's successors, George H.W. Bush Sr. presided over huge budget deficits and was booted out of office because Clinton said, "It's the economy, stupid." Clinton got out of office right as the dot-com bubble burst and did nothing to control spending other than by fostering partisan gridlock in Washington. Elaine Karmarck is just another Clinton hack.
