Alaska oil drilling back on agenda
Wednesday, November 10, 2004 Posted: 12:56 PM EST (1756 GMT)

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican gains in the Senate could give President Bush his best chance yet to achieve his No. 1 energy priority -- opening an oil-rich but environmentally sensitive Alaska wildlife refuge to drilling.

If he is successful, it would be a stinging defeat for environmentalists and an energy triumph that eluded Bush his first four years in the White House. A broader agenda that includes reviving nuclear power, preventing blackouts and expanding oil and gas drilling in the Rockies will be more difficult to enact.

11 us troops killed in fooledja 25 wounded

2 iraqi allied troops killed 16 wounded

71 terrorists killed, culled from a city of 300k plus

even nam had better stats

in other news:

the first hispanic has been nominated to serve as attorney general

all of his jurisprudence prior came from his experience as an appointment by W

even then, in his acceptance speech, he asked, give me a chance (as the first hispanice ag) to show what I and my people can do.

an apologist, a man whose adult career mirrors Mr. Bush, it is difficult to discern qualifications for the job.

he is also the author of the memo dismissing the Geneva Convention in his role as white house council... if you don't know what that is Gersh, don't open your self up for ridicule.

>That seventy times seven applies to your side too is what you're missing, man ...<

You are in error .. please read the sections you refer to.

It would apply if we were within the context. We are not.

>For the rest, Irish Catholic.

Does that matter?<

Nice to know the direction debate comes from.
