Rose, ... back from homework break... Now I'm getting Canadian History in French... anyway .. we left the realm of good and stable government above all behind with the BNA act. Now we are in new territory with our charter of rights that the US has been in almost since inception.. (and yes I know it was really justice and liberty for .... certain people) but ancient Greece where we get the word from was hardly what we would envision as a democracy... you were not included eg.. but I digress... I can turn off the television anytime or exercise my free will... The entire thing is insulting IMO... have you seen the 'omni' channels in Toronto... supposedly ethnic tv originally... well constant reruns of the Simpsons, Cops, ... , Raymond, King of Queens, Blind date blah blah...... doesn't seem very 'ethnic' to me... I bring this up since they got priority low dial number and bumped up a good american PBS station to the nether regions of the dial.... and late at night well constant 1-900-XXX-XXXX programmming... rather hypocritical of the CRTC I'd say to promote some of this crap on these stations... but then again it was formerly under the purvue of Shelia as I recall... former Heritage minister ? Naw rose... if we can't make the right choices on our own in something this simple we deserve NO choices... all I can do is sigh... my 2 cents anyway.. regards Kastel BTW I got a pile of striploin steaks 2 for 1 the other week at Dominion and a couple of Rib roasts :o)
