Kerry is not my hero.

He did do what almost everyone was doing in the Vietnam era.I don't know how old you are but one has had to live through that period to understand the tenor of the times.

Kerry's role in that period has been taken out of context of that time for political reasons in the election. To the majority he was a hero for standing up against a corrupt administration that was sending boys as fodder to Vietnam.

The Country was very polarized and more were against the war than for it. Many spoke out. Kerry because he brought the dame war up... 30 years ago it was fought.. got nailed for it in the backlash of allegations from his opponents in the election. He should have released his records.. yes and he should have talked back to the Swiftvets.. He ignored those issues and they haunted him.

Just my opinion..
