Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Anyone with an IQ over 40 can name a number of these CI's off the top of their heads. Many of these CI's are former felons, criminals, organized crime figures, securities frauds and the like whose discretion and integrity is certainly the bedrock of our legal system. J.T.M. is just one "best of breed" among these dogs. Who needs undercover agents in this space? The Bermuda Short Sting was only partially successful, giving a weak case to the US Attorney that they made the most out of they could. Kudos to Roger Stefin, the AUSA who got the Valentine conviction. He sure as hell was not buried by the non-existent help he got from the SEC and NASD on Valentine's background or history of criminality. Who needs an undercover agent with resources like this board? Everyone knows the posters here are the soul of fairness, adherence to the law and objectivity first and last, right? And there are certainly lawyers here who know the law and adhere to it absolutely religiously and without lying, cheating or stealing. My hat is off to anyone here whose efforts to champion integrity in our system goes beyond ripping off defenseless companies and investors seem to be unrewarded. I'd like to see how the other thugs among you would like practical Darwinism if it were applied to you in a UFC Ring by someone who could actually fight back. The worst of you are petty bullies, and typically of the type, you are physical and moral cowards with no guts. I don't know if Elgindy's prior felony history will get to the Jury in his trial, but it will be tragic if he gets off because it didn't. It will be more tragic if Elgindy is acquitted. If that happens, we all lose. MagicRecall.
