Arafat : Part Terrorist & Part Statesman ?

I ask because his early days were covert terrorist days. His later days were as a statesman - if he was not one, he would not have been invited to Oslo & Camp David.

MSM lauding that terrorist until the funeral.

Interesting to compare the coverage with Reagan's funeral.

Attendance/conduct of foreign leaders will be an interesting contrast as well.

I wonder if Chirac will throw himself weeping on the casket?

I guess Arafat's wife finally cut a deal. They took the body off life support. Now we will have to put up with the MSM lauding that terrorist until the funeral.

I was very pleased to hear that efforts to whip up a mass demonstration in Ramallah had fallen flat. They got a couple of hundred teenagers together, that's it. It seems the Palestinians were also waiting for the old bugger to die.
