Full tanks of jet fuel. On tape, bin Laden said that they had calculated that they might be able to take out the towers if the planes were international flights with lots of fuel.

That's bull.......I attended a lecture by one of the architects of the complex. He made it clear why the buildings collapsed. A new concept of design had been introduced with the building of the WTC....it had to do with the load carried by the lateral curtain wall. It was never intended to take the high heat generated by the jet fuel burning. First, the girders began to buckle from the heat and then the curtain wall began to fragment.

You need to chill on some of your conspiracy theories. Ole Rummie will start to cite you as an example of the moral decay of Old Europe. ;~)

Not from the impact, but there was an awful lot of fuel in those planes. The framework of the buildings wouldn't even have to melt, it would just need to get soft and weak and then the buildings weight would take care of the rest.
