I think all of our politicians are wimps Nobody has the guts to take on the Latin population on immigration. It can be sold. This Arizonia law passed with 47% latin support. Since we upped the border closings, California's illegals are coming in through Arizona. That could be easily stopped. But nobody wants to make the effort. The California Republicans blame their defeat on the last immigration law they passed. They are wrong, it's their social conservative candidates. They get these "hard right" people because California is so gerrymandered now that the conservative districts are VERY conservative, and the furthest right person wins. The other side of the coin is the Democratic districts now elect the left wing wackos. If Arnold leaves the Governorship, I see a very bleak future for California.
