Let Gonzalez be AG. Democrats don't want to be seen as obstructionists. Besides, Bush could have nominated some real wacko like another Ashcroft. Save the ammo for the Supreme Court fight.

I think the dems are going to roll over on the Gonzalez appointment and if they do I think it might signal the death of the democratic party.
