I am very aware of the 687 cease fire agreement. Its a UN agreement.

Its not up to the US to arbitrary decide that Iraq is in contravention of any UN agreement or is it up to the US to decide what to do about it.

Apparently you see no contradiction and lack of legitimacy in seeing the US select only those agreements it wishes to honor while ignoring the rest.

Fact: There was NO reason to terminate inspections. Inspections were working, the CIA report conclusively states this.
