Hi Sergio,

Re: VRLK & MTRX

VRLK recent up-trend started on Nov.9 from the 1.40 level. It has significant resistance from the 2.60 to the 2.75 level and support at 1.60

MTRX has also done well since its recent up-trend started on Oct.27 from the 4.60 level. It still has to close above its Sep.14 H of 5.97 in order to start closing its Oct.12 down-gap. On Nov.1 it was mentioned by David Nassar in a group of "Early Candidates for the January Effect".

Lately I have been more "selective", "choosy" or "fussy" <g> and neither one of the two meets my present criteria.<G>

MTRX earnings in the last 2 Qs have not been good. ($0.05 vs.$0.20 and loss of $0.03 vs. $0.22 in the black in 2003)The EE for the year ending in May are around $0.34 vs. $0.57 this year. And revenues in the last Q were 84.9M vs.158M in 2003 Its has total cash of $1.15M vs. TD of 52.5M and negative CF and FCF. In its favor is BV around $4.95 and a pretty good institutional holding.

VRLK's TD is not as high as MTRX's and in its favor is that it puts back almost 15% in R&D.In the Sep. Q it had a loss of $0.14/share vs. $0.12 on the black in 2003, albeit the revenues were almost 30% better (12.3M vs. 9.6M)

In that price range I would rather stay with AAC ADSX AGIL AIRN ARDI AWRE BORL COMS DDDC ECIL ESLR ETS EWEB EXFO FCGI FRD GSLI HAUP HURC INOD ISSI IWOV LCBM LCCI LPTH LSI MESA MIPS MKSI NTOP PGLAF PMTC RAE SANM SCMR SEGU SLR SMDI SMSI SONS SUNW SYMM TCF TGAL TQNT TWAV TXCO VDSI (If you check, most of these seem to have a low Debt/Equity and improving revenues and earnings.<g>)

And out of that price range, I still like HELX and OVTI, but this last one has almost doubled since I bought it and seems ready to close its June 9 downgap.<g>

I have done little posting lately since I have been rather bussy and I think there isn't any interest in the scan results or sharing opinions, which I don't mind as long as I keep having good results.<G>
