I am not quite following.

Sorry to be so oblique. Your original statement (Intifada II was the product of Clinton's appeasement, pressuring Barak to nearly give up all points except the final status of Jerusalem.) suggested disapproval of the offer made to Arafat. So I was wondering whether, with the benefit of hindsight, disapproval is really warranted. It always seemed to me that both sides would have been better off had that deal gone through but I don't follow such things as closely as you and I was interested in your angle.
