Puerto Ricans demand apology over flag flub

Puerto Ricans in the Massachusetts town of Amherst want an apology after a town leader upset over President Bush's victory removed a Puerto Rican flag - mistaking it for the symbol of Texas.
The flag was raised last week at a ceremony with 100 people in the town square in honor of Puerto Rican month.

But on Sunday, misguided Town Meeting member Patricia Church took it down, apparently thinking it was in recognition of the Texan President's reelection, reported the local newspaper, the Republican of Amherst.

Vladimir Morales, who helped organize the ceremony wants Church to say she is sorry. "I think the folks need to be a little more careful," he told the paper.

Thanks, Steve, but I kind of like living near a coast (and I'm not talking Gulf). I also like being a "rebel" who lives in "blue states." ;-)

Otellini to Become First Non-Engineer Intel CEO

First the vision (Moore), then the drive (Grove), then the manufacturing (Barrett), and now the marketing (Otellini). I like it!

Now all we have to do is "survive" Prescott ...

We did manage to knock Tom DeLay's handpicked man (Jack Stick) out of the state house in my district.
