Ted, You ask me to empathize with the good Iraqis.....well why don't you empathize with these teenage insurgents? Not everyone hates America and Americans as deeply as you do. These "insurgents" want to kill Americans. Your empathy of killers of Americans just makes me puke. The Sunnis are afraid the Shia will castrate them.......for good reason. Fine with me. It was the US that insisted on some kind of federalist system in Iraq, where Kurds, Sunni and Shia have their rights guaranteed. We were in a way protecting the Sunnis from potentially unfair treatment. What we get in return? You know the answer. I will not be grieving for Sunnis if they end up with the short end of the stick when Shia assert their majority power. Joe
