Balance means impartial teachers in the classroom. I object equally to the holy warrior teachers you describe. And wishing bush dead is not exactly taking a position. What about the PS re: iran--that is an area where you have far more credibility as opposed to being an agent provacateur on the teacher issue just to get my blood pressure up. mike

The mere fact that teachers' salaries come from taxes does not mean they should be "agents" of government.

Agreed.

You can't have "freedom of speech" without actually having freedom of expression.

I don't care what anyone says, even those I disagree with totally like jlallen. I simply ignore them, unless I consider them dangerous and then its time to speak out against such folks.

Much cheaper than prison and less messy than lynching.
