Clothiers: Nice move in ANF continues.
-------
PERY, one of my picks, has stumbled on an earnings outlook and downgrade by a couple of analysts. I've added a bit to my position today.

Company still expects earnings about $2.10-$2.20 for the year ending 01/'05 which makes forward p/e under 10. At current price, stock sells about stated book value (many acquisitions here, so tangible bv will be much lower). Book has increased every year for the past ten.

PSR is now less than .33 - not terribly inexpensive. OTOH, the stock's sold at a higher average psr than .3 for maybe seven of the past ten years.

I believe Carl Icahn is still a major stockholder (A positive imo, since I assume he will want to eventually see a profit on his investment. But otoh: sometimes it seems he gets HIS profit while leaving other investors with losses.)

-----------

Fwiw, still holding: BL, HAMP, ZQK SCNYB, TOM, ROST, KSWS, JNY, TJX also.
