Thank you so much for the wonderful post, One of the best I have ever received. It was just beautiful. I can just "see the scenes", I wish we were there with you and your family.. I could learn a lot too. :).. And your post ending with the wishes to me .. What can I say?.. Except, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.. :) I am in a sort of sweet but melancholy mood tonight. We just arrived home from dinner, prior to which we attended the "celebration of life", services for a long time friend.. A wonderful woman, a dynamic woman, a remarkable woman that lived her life the way she wanted to. And she lived it right.. A teacher, that defended the rights of all.. One year she received the ACLU honoree of the year along with Martin Sheen.. Awaiting the service, music by the Beatles and Simon and Garfinkle was played and the service opened with a "Fanfare to the Common Man" So her family, had a remarkable service for her, conducted by colleagues of hers. Where passages from the constitution were read, instead of the bible. She has a great and wonderful family.. Her husband, the first guy I ever worked for and still a great friend.. Plus children, grandchildren, and all and they respected her philosophy.. And the place was packed, friends, relatives, former students etc. A rousing tribute to her life..... I will tell you sometime in private, in person or in PM, what else she meant to us.. Yes, life is sweet, so much helped along by great people, like yourselves and the person and her family and friends we celebrated today.. Luv n Hugs, M n' M
