I think Long and Short would appreciate this as he is always with the S.innuendo's... HOWEVER, How about when Ashcroft spent $ 8.000 of taxpayers money to DRAPE a partially nude statue in front of which he was to speak. I think Janis Jackson was outdone as both were exposed on the statue..
Ashcroft is a religious nut, OK? There are and always have been lots of them around (and not just in the US), but he may be the first to make AG.

NBC who withdrew the rerun of SEARCH FOR PRIVATE RYAN for fear that they would be fined by FCC as that word that is a verb, noun,adverb... and begins with and F was used 10 times in the film in the first hour.
Aw. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Other than that, it was a great movie. NBC should have told the FCC to shove and dared them to shut down a major American network.

"Stick and stones..."

Know something? Kids here those words on the playground every day. I don't think 3 hours of TV once was going to turn a generation into criminals.

Now censorship is one thing... but the statue stood there well before Ashcroft was born..
Well, that proves the case! It got made because Ashcroft wasn't around to stop it. :-)
