Carol Chessman had been on death row for like 14 years, he was his own attorney. Most got the chamber much sooner then but he had escaped so far. No murders, he had targeted couples making out in cars. Rob the guy and rape the girl. At the time he had spent the most time on death row. They gassed him before my vacation was over.
