Most Americans were hard-nosed (pissed off) enough to stand in line as long as it took to chase these Stalinist vote-fabricating TRAITORS out of power. The reason they hate Christians so much is because the underlying unifying element of the left isn't Socialism or Communism, its the "New Age" movement. New Agers HATE the church because they are working dilligently for their New Age luciferian masters. Socialism and Communism are simply different denominations in the New AGe movement. The writings of Blavatsky, Benjamin Creme and Alice Bailey are littered with their hatred of the church.
