It's been 10 days or so since we were robbed. To me it seems like about 50. I relive it, not because I'm looking for things to be sad about, but because I know we were literally highjacked of so many chances of rebuilding our nation now and not in another 4 years.
What can happen to America if we go through another 4 years of Bush/Cheney? I bet you folks could fill in many answers to that question eh?
It turns out that we "bloggerheads", taken in total have made an imprint on politics. They hear us loud and clear.
We have so far to go, and it will probably take months to reveal the many layers of corruption in the Bush administration. It generally does in politics.
I do not encourage any of you to now send your moneys to any 527. They have enough in my opinion.

The odds are very much against us winning in a recount.
How do you follow a paperless trail? You can't.
What is achievable in my mind are the chances that some will come forward to acknowledge the crimes in the fraud, either by them just doing the right thing (2%) or those that are proven to be implicated and "flip" on da' man.

Karl could not pull this off with just a squad of dirty rotten bastards, it took many more than that IMO, and what it will take over the coming months will be those with the power and finances to expose the despicable truths of why Bush took us into Iraq, the financial reasons for doing it, and his ensuing strategy of rigging the votes in the key battleground states.
My hopes and expectations are that this will happen, and before the 2006 elections.
Bush has few friends, even his cohorts worry of what he'll say the next time he opens his pie-hole.
Blair must have winced a bit today when asked if he was Dumbya's poodle. How much can Tony stand along with the other coerced leaders of our big ole' "coalition".
Foreign leaders know the questions are coming.
Iraq is our new Vietnam. That's not just a silly phrase.
But worse than Vietnam this war carries with it many more ramifications. The world did not hate us so much for Vietnam.

The world now sees that we have re-elected a tyrant who can devastate our environment, our social fabric, and our very existence.
I will watch every day for the truths to surface. The sooner this weasel leaves office the sooner we can begin building our new tent.

From Riverbend:

Murder...
People in Falloojeh are being murdered. The stories coming back are horrifying. People being shot in cold blood in the streets and being buried under tons of concrete and iron... where is the world? Bury Arafat and hurry up and pay attention to what's happening in Iraq.

They say the people have nothing to eat. No produce is going into the city and the water has been cut off for days and days. Do you know what it's like to have no clean water??? People are drinking contaminated water and coming down with diarrhoea and other diseases. There are corpses in the street because no one can risk leaving their home to bury people. Families are burying children and parents in the gardens of their homes. WHERE IS EVERYONE???

Furthermore, where is Sistani? Why isn't he saying anything about the situation? When the South was being attacked, Sunni clerics everywhere decried the attacks. Where is Sistani now, when people are looking to him for some reaction? The silence is deafening.

We're not leaving the house lately. There was a total of 8 hours of electricity today and we've been using the generator sparingly because there is a mysterious fuel shortage... several explosions were heard in different places.

Things are deteriorating swiftly.

More on Falloojeh crisis here:

Aid agencies say Falluja "big disaster"...

Eyewitness: Smoke and Corpses...

Iraqis will never forgive this- never. It's outrageous- it's genocide and America, with the help and support of Allawi, is responsible. May whoever contributes to this see the sorrow, terror and misery of the people suffering in Falloojeh.
