Thanks Ed, and now I see what you mean with "If Putin and Lulu get together then it will be pay back time for the US influence and presence in the various 'Stans and in Poland and much of the rest of the former USSR." And, indeed, the US has had it all its own way. It could, and did, mess in everyone else's country just as it pleased. So, it seems, now, others will be just that bit more aggressive in protecting their own interests -- and who can blame them? I wonder which group Canada will join? With the US, with Europe, or with Russia and China?
