What types of pollutants does it put out? The Earth's natural biological processes are not the same as the man-made ones.

Volcanoes put out particulate. We do too but we also put out chemicals that weaken the ozone layer. That's where the real danger is. Large volcanoes have the potential of cooling the earth temporarily. The mess we are putting in the air has the potential of heating up the earth more permanently.
