I have no idea what you're talking about. The statement was a statement, not a flip-flop. So, yes, it was sort of black and white. There is nothing wrong with a black and white statement when it is called for.

I've not implied on this thread that I'm an expert on anything, other than maybe accounting and software development, which are areas of my expertise.

Stating that someone is ignorant of a subject is not name-calling. It is merely pointing out someones lack of understanding of the subject. Or, at least, that was the intent of the statement.

You are more intelligent than to use such a black/white statement.

By characterizing things as black and white with a large gulf in between, you can often avoid making stupid decisions.
