"The facts are this war is more about blowing off old munitions so new ones can be made and keep that industry going and at the same time jacking up the price of oil so that segment can cash up than it is about any moral outrage we felt about Saddam Hussein." Isn't this war also about W's goal of avenging Saddam's assassination plans against his father? And our national security need to control this geographical area because of its oil resources? I also agree with your assessment that our old military-industrial complex needed a big old blow-out. Wheeeeeeeeee (as Howard Dean might say).
