tooearly - good question, I would be interested in hearing some ideas on this as well. Coincidentally, I stumbled across a food-sector related issue a couple of weeks ago, Tasker Capital:

stockcharts.com[w,a]daclyyay[pc50!c100][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9]&pref=G

I bought it at .95 and 1.00. Normally, I wouldn't go near something like this (pink sheet, incorporated in Nevada), but I know some people that are pretty close to the company. These guys have the licensing rights to a drinkable breath freshener (swish and swallow!). So what?

Well, as it turns out this thing has an anti-bacterial agent that is FDA-approved and sustains its properties in scalding water. It is apparently very effective for processing poultry, as recent news releases from the company indicate. I suspect that it can be used on other types of meat as well. If they can reduce waste by 5-10% for a meat processor, where do you think the stock might go?

I've wondered about wine stocks ... don't know anything about them. As the global economies expand, along with wealth, wine consumption could really boom.

I know as my wealth expanded I started inbibing. Never have yet gone back to smoking. Need a Cuban cigar I guess. Thanks to Bush I can't find any.

Do the Chinese and Indians drink wine? Or is it forboten? Don't know much about their cultures, don't know a lot of things.
