I think we are missing the point I originally made...pgerassi said that when FAB 36 was fully operational and there was a straight Die shrink given the current A64 with I think 512 kb of cache that it was possible to quadruple output...given the fact that AMD will have a mixed bag of processors from 256kb to 2 mb of cache and in addition a certain number of dual processors I would say Doug is right in saying that AMD will not go this route...I'm thinking Fab 36 will be around 20 million processors per quarter with some of these being really High priced and some really low priced...in addition lets not forget that maybe AMD will continue to produce or modify FAB 30 and produce either semprons or A64's with 256kb of cache...
