Wal-Mart

The article is a long expose of the fact that Wal-Mart has-HORRORS!-their customer's SS and DL number, and can know all about them from this. So does every other retailer that cashes checks or issues discount cards. And every credit card company. If you don't like this fact, pay cash and don't ask for discount cards.

This is part of the long drumbeat the media is building to "get" Wal-Mart.
