"but don't call me a hater of anything" I only do this when hatred is exhibited by the poster. When I do point it out there are some that take offense, but if they read the original post in an unbiased manor they could see where the comment came from. "If the number is off, my apologies." I believe it is. I have asked for sources from some making the claim. JF sent me a link to a British medical journal but I have not seen any mainstream news mention the number. The "speech" that OBL gave mentioned 10,000 (10% of your figure), and I would think he would milk the larger figure for all that he could. "We're not talking a little bit of damage, but a whole lot" I wish that those that oppose this war would place some of the blame on those who cut off heads and blow up innocents. We will stop going after them when they stop killing. Then lots of innocents would be saved. The one's they kill and the ones they hide behind. We try our best not to kill any innocents. Unfortunately 9-11 ushered in an era where WE MUST FIGHT BACK. Taking out Saddam is an integral part of that, and many fanatics want our efforts to fail.
