Forget the logs for the time being then. Look at Tony's actions. Eric Dash of the New York Times reported that BEFORE the attacks, Tony, using two brokerage firms, wired $6 million to support a charity known as Mercy International. Isn't it funny that his $6 million donation to bin Laden's Mercy International Relief Organization goes through, but the $300k from his kid's trust fund can't be liquidated before 9/11? Another joke? You claim Tony lied in the logs. You may be right. He proclaimed death to bin Laden in the logs. So, why did he send bin Laden's Mercy International $6 million? Have you ever known Tony to lie on purpose? ;0)
IRELAND'S BIN LADEN LINK; FANATICS SET UP DUBLIN BASE IN BID TO RECRUIT IRISH FOLLOWERS
AN EXTREMIST Islamic group that worships Osama bin Laden is opening a base in Ireland this week, The People can reveal.
The Muslim fanatics, who celebrated the September 11 attacks, are holding a conference in a bid to recruit followers to their cause.
Al Muhajiroun, whose aim is to overthrow Western democracies and impose a global Islamic state, have booked conference rooms in a Dublin hotel for a weekend launch of operations in Ireland, which has been condemned by mainstream Muslim organisations.
Gardai and the security services fear the conference titled "Islam - The Future for Ireland" is a worrying twist in the politics of Ireland.
The group's publicity leaflet states: "Historically the Irish could be described as a nation of fighters, fending off all and sundry who would try to oppress or declare their sovereignty over them, one of the few nations capable of boasting that they drove the British imperialists out.
"Before the advent of Islam the Arabian Peninsula suffered similar sectarian wars as do the Irish today.
"We therefore invite you to open your eyes and ears to this final message to mankind from the only one who deserves to be worshiped, Allah."
The rhetoric continues: "Let us share your problems and offer you a lasting solution for the people of Ireland."
Followers of Al Muhajiroun were jeered last year when they appeared on the Late Late Show supporting al-Qaeda and hinting at plans for a Dublin base.
But today the People can reveal the fundamentalist group has booked the Mezzanine rooms of Jury's Hotel in Dublin starting from January 16 to launch a major offensive for non-muslims to join their sect.
Jury's Ballsbridge Hotel confirmed rooms at the hotel have been booked by publication company fronting for Al Muhajiroun.
Two people connected to Al Muhajiroun were implicated in a suicide bombing in Israel last year.
Asif Hanif, 21, blew himself up outside a Tel Aviv bar, killing three people, while the body of his accomplice, Omar Khan Sharif, whose explosives failed to detonate, was found in the sea several days later.
The man who admitted to being their spiritual leader is the founder and worldwide leader of Al Muhajiroun, Omar Bakri Mohammed.
Run from offices in Tottenham, North London, he has branches in America, Lebanon and Pakistan. Membership is claimed to be more than 2,000 in England. Syrian born Bakri, a 45-year-old asylum seeker, is also founder of the Khalifah organisation, an umbrella organisation for other hardline groups.
He has boasted of sending hundreds of Britons a year abroad to fight for Islam.
Last year he escaped prosecution after he was accused of calling for the death of Pakistan leader General Musharraf.
Bakri normally organises rallies with the Egyptian-born self-styled sheik Abu Hamza, who has only one eye and metal claws replacing his hand that was blown off by a landmine in Afghanistan.
He was booted out of the radical Finsbury Park Mosque in London and has been named in Yemen as the man who sent eight Britons to carry out terror bombings.
He has also been linked to the shoe-bomber Richard Reid.
Their Irish operation will be led by Khalid Kelly, who claims he was once a Catholic altar boy at St Catherine of Alexandria Church in Dublin.
Kelly, 37, whose original name is Terence Robert, converted to Islam three years ago while in jail in Al Haiir prison in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for selling alcohol.
He was deported to England in 2001 and recently appeared as a supporter of Al Muhajiroun on the Late Late Show.
Kelly said: "I had the normal Catholic upbringing in Dublin.
"I was an altar boy and attended church and all the normal stuff. My parents still live in Dublin.
"I went to Saudi Arabia in 1996 to work as a nurse in the accident and emergency in King Faisal hospital in Riyadh.
"When I arrived I hated anything to do with Islam. The call to pray used to annoy me very much. I got drawn into the illegal alcohol scene, which many Westerners are involved in."
While in prison, Kelly met Ayoub, an Afghani who introduced him to Islam.
Kelly said: "He changed my views on the religion. He gave me a copy of the Koran, I read that for 16 hours a day for seven or eight weeks and the whole thing just made sense to me.
"All my questions about life and the universe were answered and I was clear about my purpose in life. I said the Muslim declaration of faith and I have been happy since."
He has a wife and 10-year-old daughter who do not subscribe to his fundamentalist beliefs.
"I'm working on bringing my daughter up as a Muslim and my wife is currently reading the Koran," he said.
"In Islam there is no compulsion in religion and I can only hope and gently persuade them to join the faith."
Moussa Al Gali, the spokesman for Irish Muslims for Peace, said that Al Muhajiroun was rejected by the community.
He added: "These people portray Islam as a bloodthirsty religion and this is not the true understanding of most Muslims.
"They will get members here and there. Many moderate Muslims are asking why these people are being allowed to be used as a weapon against Islam."
GCHQ, the England-based eavesdropping agency, has, with the US National Security Agency, already established links between Ireland and al-Qaeda.
Money transferred out of Dublin from one of the Republic's leading banks to Warsaw has been traced to a bank in St Petersburg.
It has been linked with arms sales to the Middle East, and to funding the Basque terror group ETA.
There is growing suspicion that al-Qaeda used Ireland as a base for the financial bagmen who funded last September's attacks.
Their travel documents identified them as charity workers with the Mercy International Relief Agency, set up by bin Laden shortly after he created al-Qaeda and suspected of raising funds for him.
The couriers returned to Ireland with passports supplied by countries known to have links to bin Laden, including Sudan, Morocco, Syria and Iraq.
Bakri, who gained international attention for describing the September 11 hijackers as the 'Magnificent 19', claimed fanatics visiting Ireland have received sympathy.
Their propaganda leaflet states: "Visitors to Ireland can't help but notice the sympathy extended to them over the problems being suffered in Palestine or Iraq.
"The Irish themselves having suffered many similar problems in their turbulent history."
The sheik has said: "I want to see the black flag of Islam flying over Downing Street."
The black flag of Islam is the flag of Jihad - Holy War. His daughter is also named Black Flag of Islam.
Now he's exporting his fanaticism to Ireland and claims Islam is the fastest growing religion in Ireland.
Bakri added: "There is no doubt whatsoever that the colleges and universities in Ireland will not present Islam in its true and undiluted form.
"Islam is today the fastest growing religion in Ireland. A system which the masses would run towards, were it not for the veil of ignorance behind which the Western education institutions and politicians keep their citizens hidden."
Last night a spokesman at Jury's Hotel in Ballsbridge said: "We were unaware of the extent of this booking. We are now investigating it as a matter of urgency."
The group has also gained an office in Dublin but its address will only be given out to converts amid fears it will be targeted |
