I think the proposition that the reason we imprisoned AND IMPOVERISHED those Americans (instead of protecting them, if they needed it as you claim,) is for their own good is ludicrous, and that my response was appropriate to the provocation. This would have been a good idea, if the Japanese needed to be saved: Release and publicize the study that showed that they were highly loyal American citizens. I don't think it's credible to say that you're keeping someone someplace for their own safety if you shoot them when they try to leave.
